It seems I’ve been “tagged” in the High Vibes Game by Vickie at Contemplate This so that makes it my turn to post about what I do to raise my vibration!
According to OptimistLab, it seems the way this works is to post my top 5 vibrational increasing activities and then link to 5 blogs that I read on a regular basis. So, here we go!
Activities that I use to raise my vibrational level:
- I set my intentions before I get out of bed every morning.
I’ve posted about this before but from my perspective this activity probably represents the single biggest impact on my vibrations. Here’s the post where I wrote about this in more detail. - I look for things to appreciate and be thankful for.
I always begin my meditative moments with appreciation which sometimes allows for a few moments of contemplation so that those items I need to appreciate can bubble up to the surface of my mind. Interestingly, I find it’s not at all unusual that during those moments I’m able to find something to appreciate in what might otherwise be considered a less than optimal situation. That “silver lining” has a way of showing itself during those moments
. - I am careful to focus on only those things that help me feel better than I currently do.
One of the early changes I found that made a huge difference in the way I feel was my decision to stop watching or reading the news. I know this is a difficult one for many people as I am often given a funny look when I talk about this one but, for me, the vibrational level of the items normally delivered by the mass media was just too overwhelming. The relatively small amount of news that I now follow comes from HappyNews.com. Additionally, I am very careful about any programming I watch on television. - I regularly meet with others who share my intentions and desire to feel better.
I learned about Meetup.com from Vickie at Contemplate This who was herself organizing a Law of Attraction meetup in her area. I searched the site for my area and found that there were no meetup groups close to me so I started one. We have now established a regular every other week meeting and the people that have arrived at these meetings have each brought their own wonderful perspectives and intentions to share with the group. If you haven’t previously thought of this, I would encourage you to seek out other like-minded individuals with which to share your time. You will no doubt find this a highly rewarding experience. - I regularly post to my blog as well as read and comment on others blogs.
Blogging basically equates to a modern day version of journaling but has the added benefit of allowing a glimpse into the thoughts of others. I often find the act of reading another’s post will cause me to stop and think about the way I’m thinking about a certain thing. It’s like that proverbial look in the mirror where you see something that gives you pause. These moments often lead to a post of my own which in turn may prompt someone else to post something that I may again read and the cycle repeats with each repetition taking us vibrationally higher and higher.
Now it’s time to send that cycle onward and upward so here are the bloggers that I’m tagging!

Great list Clyde!
I agree with you that setting your intentions for the day is such a wonderful thing to do–it always amazes how this seemingly simple little thing can make such a difference.
Thanks for playing!

Clyde,
Thank you for tagging me!
I can think of one more thing for you to add to your list of high vibe activities. I imagine you raise your vibe level by inspiring all of us higher the way you do in your writing.
Keep on keeping on.
Peace,
Susan

Clyde,
A great list – I love seeing how differently we all raise our vibes while being reminded of other ways I do it as well.
I try to set my intentions before getting out of bed. But even if I can’t, just finding something to appreciate can help set the tone of the day.
And I totally agree with you on news. I haven’t watched news or read newspapers in more than 10 years. I still find out about the big news or anything that might affect me. My husband, on the other hand, is a news junkie, though he says he’s cutting back now (after all these years!).
Off to read some happy news!

Barb,
Thanks for your comment.
I have actually found that on those days when I forget to set my intentions prior to getting up my day just doesn’t unfold as pleasantly.
As for the news, I leave it up to the Universe to get whatever news I may need to know to me
