Your inner knowing is your only true compass. -Joy Page
The more I read and study the vast number of interpretations, or reinterpretations as the case may be, of Law of Attraction, the more I realize how much our beliefs impact the way we live our lives. I have had several conversations and read various books, essays, and blog posts that reinforce the wonderful variety that exists in this physical form. That variety is a direct result of our individual desires at work drawing forth the experiences in the manner that each of us asks for.
There are those who believe that we must “work hard” or perform some other kind of ritual in order to obtain that which we desire. They say, “How could I expect something to just show up unless I do something that facilitates the action?” These people may even be strong proponents of Law of Attraction but remain convinced that are required to do something in order to get the process moving.
On the other end of that spectrum are those who believe that the only thing necessary for the attainment of all our desires is to align ourselves vibrationally with what we want and let the Universe take care of the rest. They believe that the only act necessary is an inward one. “Believe it and you will see it”, they say. They firmly believe that the Law of Attraction requires nothing of us but continually provides whatever it is we are asking for with our thoughts.
Which is correct? Well, the really cool part is that they both are!
Because Law of Attraction says that whatever we think about is what we draw to ourselves, then it should be easy to see why both of these seemingly opposite ideas are actually correct for each respective individual according to his or her choices/thoughts/desires. In other words, if you believe that hard work is necessary to achieve your desires, then Law of Attraction will provide the hard work you believe is needed. Conversely, if you believe that your inward alignment will bring your desires forth, Law of Attraction will provide for you based on your beliefs.
So, what does it really take to manifest your desires? Simply put, whatever you think it does.

Hi there Clyde,
I think that there is one more little part here. The belief that it will manifest. You can work as little or as much as you like, but in the end, if you don’t believe that what you want will manifest, then it won’t
I am of the belief that inspired action is the way to go in getting what you want.

Hey Vickie,
Maybe that wasn’t clear in this post but I absolutely agree with you. Belief that what you want will show up is essential.
