Whatever you believe…

“I know that I won’t be able to do that”
“I don’t have what it takes”
“I don’t think I can do it”
Do any of these sound like anything that you have said recently in regards to you own abilities? Do you often doubt that you are capable or worry that you are just not good enough?
A friend recently told me of her decision to stop smoking but went on to say that she knew she would give in and smoke during a particularly stressful upcoming event in her life. My response was immediate, “If you think that you will, then you will.”
Think about the times you have “known” you would or would not do a particular thing only to ultimately prove yourself correct. It is during moments such as these that you are living and acting in such a way that your thoughts and beliefs about yourself and your situation in life are transformed from the realm of pure thought to the physical world.
You think something, even “know” it and as a result you begin acting differently. You interact with the world in a way that says you already know what your outcome will be. So, should it really be any surprise when the world steps up and accommodates you?
Today I challenge you to review your thoughts carefully. See if you can find those areas where you are preventing yourself from achieving your full potential.
Believe that you can be successful and you will be!

I’m going to do this today, and I’m going to have such an easy time of it that I’ll be able to assimilate the thought pattern into my life style without any effort at all. As a matter of fact, I already have.

Jonathan,
It sounds like you got it!
Just keep believing it and you will see it.
