Cyclone
The Screamin’ Demon
Big Thunder Mountain
Recognize any of these names? That’s right, they’re all roller coasters located in various amusement parks around the country. It has often been said that life can feel like a roller coaster ride with all of its ups, downs, twists and turns. What is not often observed is how frequently those on the ride fall into one of two categories.
There are those who race wildly to the front of the line in hopes of capturing that prized front seat and then there are those who calmly wait their turn, secretly hoping for a seat near the back. We can often identify these back seat riders, even if they happen to end up in the front, from their bloodless white knuckles. They spend the entire ride with both eyes shut and a death grip on the handlebar or any unfortunate soul who happens to be sitting next to them.
Are you living your life like this? Holding on with all you have just to make it through the day?
Today, at this moment, I challenge you to let go of your handlebar. Open your eyes, throw up your hands and experience all that life has in store for you.
Enjoy your ride!
